Apple launches iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3 for all users and these are their news — 2022
Apple does not stop surprising us with new versions of software for both the iPhone and the iPad, without a fixed release schedule, since after the release of iOS 13.2 a few weeks ago, the company has released several versions that correct errors in it. We do not know if this will already become a hallmark of the company this year, but for now it is time to update our devices. Remember that you can do it from Settings>General>Software update or by connecting your iPhone or iPad to a computer and using iTunes or Finder if you have a Mac running macOS Catalina.
What's new in iOS 13.2.3 and iPadOS 13.2.3
This year is relatively strange in terms of software updates for Apple equipment. Before, all updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV used to be released practically at the same time. However, only iOS and iPadOS now seem to go hand in hand. In this new version of both systems, 13.2.3, we find some improvements long awaited by users.
What's new in this version that can be installed by all users with an iPhone or iPadcompatible with iOS 13are:
- Correction of a bug that prevented the correct operation of the search both in the system and in the Mail, Files and Notes apps.
- Fixed issue where some users were unable to see the detail view of photos, links, and other attachments in messages.
- Correction of the bug that prevented some apps from downloading content in the background.
- Correction of all the problems related to the recovery of new messages in Mail. Also corrected the bug that did not allow to include or quote the original content of the message in Exchange accounts.
Beyond this we intuit that Apple will have implemented other improvements not visible like the security ones. At the end of the day, much of the work of engineers is silent, since their work is meticulous and very detailed, but then it is not appreciated with the naked eye.
As usual in intermediate versions, we do not find any visual novelties in the interface or in the application icons. After all, these are novelties that occur with the largest versions and the next one that is to come is iOS 14, for which there are already concepts but it will not see the light until WWDC 2020 to be held in the month of June of the next year. Thus, we only have to see the stability and improvement in autonomy of the current versions of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13.
We remember that developers are already being able to test the betas corresponding to iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3, versions that could reach the public in the coming weeks. This should have been the next version to see the light, although we have already seen that Apple has preferred to release the current 13.2.3 in order to solve the aforementioned bugs.
And you, have you already updated your iPhone and/or iPad? Have you noticed any improvement? You can leave us your impressions in the comment box.
